Early Childhood Education and Elementary School students (3 to 10 years old) can take an English immersion program as part of Beyond the Classroom project.
This is an educational project designed to broaden and improve children’s social, emotional, expressive, and creative skills, as well as English language learning. With playful experiences, activities include Arts and Science as two of the major building blocks.
From a bilingual perspective, students are in close contact with English all the time, with all the routine and tasks being carried out in English. The project also offers targeted English classes designed for each group.
- A safe, caring and challenging environment, with distinguished learning characteristics;
- Classes can be taken in the morning or afternoon;
- Specialized teaching staff;
- Students are followed individually;
- English and Artistic Expression classes;
- A suitable environment for study activities (homework), supervised by a teacher;
- Supplies used in the activities;
- A healthy diet, monitored by a team of nutrition specialists and the teaching staff;
- Families can hire as many days as desired, from 1 to 5 days a week.
- Playing is a priority: students evolve through playful activities that stimulate imagination and creativity;
- Experiences that contribute to skill acquisition, values and respectful attitudes;
- A routine is created to encourage students’ autonomy;
- Colleagues of different age groups interact in the same environment;
- Contact with the English language in everyday situations, and gradual progress in language acquisition.
